Wolf and Crow

Lady of the Isle
You wore make up today.
I signed your card for inspiration.
You are a picture of equality
and sexless dreams.
I am no romantic and I am no poet,
I only collect your thoughts
and mould them
Into shapeless meanings.
You looked like beauty today
And if she had a name, I would call her
By night with wolf and crow.
You hold yourself well
and I watch for now.
I wait for you with willow in my mouth
I wait for you with glimpses of serenity.
There is peace and some quiet.
The day breaks and I think about you,
With wolf and crow.
